Job Summary
Senior Logistics Coordinator role focusing on hands-on operational management of day-to-day logistics activities. Responsibilities include organizing stand-ups with the Operations Manager, communicating delivery-related information to clients, assisting with route restructuring and capacity planning, handling administrative duties (staff scheduling, paperwork, vacation coverage), coordinating with couriers, dispatch, warehouse, and customer service to resolve service and operational issues, generating client reports and invoices, conducting quality checks, safety follow-ups, coordinating training plans for health and safety, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulations. Requires post-secondary education, 1–3 years of transportation experience (preferably healthcare-related), dispatching/route coordination experience, relevant certifications, strong communication, coaching ability, MS Office proficiency, and a proven leadership and problem-solving mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary Education
- 1 to 3 years related experience in transportation industry preferably in healthcare environment
- experience in dispatching and route coordination is an asset
- updated certifications and licenses required to practice in the field
- excellent written and communication skills
- proficiency in MS Office and related tools
- ability to coach and provide feedback
