Job Summary
Senior Logistics Analyst Food Service responsible for in-depth analysis of FSM/ AIS data, support for Force/Unit level inspections, and training development under the USFFC NFL program in Norfolk. Responsibilities include determining training needs for FSM courses, revising TYCOM policies, conducting operations analysis of food service procedures, preparing reports to evaluate effectiveness, and providing guidance to ships on day-to-day FSM operations and records management. Requires current DOD SECRET clearance, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent Navy experience), and proficiency with MS Office; preferred background includes Navy Food Service experience and AIS management, with capability to support training and policy updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline
- Eight years of hands-on experience in Navy Food Service and Navy Food Service AIS in lieu of degree
- Current DOD SECRET clearance
- Experience with FSM and related Food management programs
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- NMCI familiarity
- Ability to develop, present, and train FSM courses
- Experience conducting analyses of food service operations, sanitation, and records
- Ability to prepare follow-up reports evaluating food service operations
