Job Summary
Develop, optimize, and manage the DriSteem logistics network for domestic and international inbound and outbound transportation. Analyze market trends, negotiate carrier contracts, and select new freight forwarders to ensure a favorable service-to-cost ratio. Own relationships with European 3PLs, customs partners, and carriers, acting as the escalation point for operational issues. Monitor transportation KPIs, execute cost-saving initiatives, and manage freight claims and tariff refunds. Support quoting, audit freight bills, and maintain compliance with international trade regulations and ISO 9001 standards. Provide shipment tracking for customer service and collaborate with Inside Sales on demo unit movement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other related degree
- 6+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, and compliance in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and monitoring compliance as it relates to international trade regulations
- Intermediate level of experience with Syteline or a similar ERP system
- Advanced level of experience with Sureship or similar shipping software systems
- Knowledge and experience working in an ISO 9001-2015 environment
- Must be proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Webex, and/or Microsoft Teams
- Must be able to travel up to 10%
- Must be authorized to work in the US
