Job Summary
Lead logistics planning and coordination with Navy field activities, hardware contractors, and cross-functional teams. Develop and deliver technical briefings, advisory messages, and fleet communications. Resolve supply support issues, oversee provisioning documentation, and manage inventory data updates. Lead the development of lifecycle logistics products including sustainment plans, ordnance assessments, and Integrated Logistics Assessments. Conduct ILS impact analysis for Engineering Change Proposals and manage fleet missile inventory data for readiness requirements. This role requires an active DOD Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred) and 30 years of logistics experience with US Navy platforms. The position is 100% on-site in Arlington, VA, with limited travel under 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Active DOD Secret clearance
- Top Secret preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline
- 30 years' total experience with logistics and/or lifecycle support of US Navy platforms or weapon systems
- DAWIA certifications in Acquisition and/or Logistics or comparable certifications
- 100% on-site, in-office position in Arlington, VA
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience with fielding and logistics support for specific Navy terminal defense systems such as RAM and CIWS
- Experience briefing senior leaders on program plans and status
- Knowledge of FMS and international programs and experience with international customers
- Prior SIPR account and experience using SIPR systems
- Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations
