Job Summary
Senior Logistician at Avion Solutions, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, focusing on Army Aviation engine maintenance expertise for T55/T700 engines. Responsibilities include reviewing Maintenance Engineering Orders and technical publications, conducting depot maintenance verification, supporting logistics demonstrations and safety investigations, reviewing engineering change proposals/notices for logist.*cal impacts, and providing real-world Army Aviation engine maintenance expertise to the customer and program office. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of relevant experience (preferably as a 15B Aircraft Powerplant Repairer), knowledge of TAMMS-A and MCDS 2410, strong communication skills, U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance, and up to 15% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of relevant logistics, maintenance, or Army Aviation engine maintenance experience
- Experience in Army maintenance, preferably as a 15B Aircraft Powerplant Repairer
- Knowledge of T55 and/or T700 series engines
- Knowledge of Army Aviation maintenance processes, forms, and records, including TAMMS-A and MCDS 2410
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance
- Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time
