Job Summary
Senior Local Trial Manager responsible for the local/UK management and oversight of clinical trials (or Medical Affairs data generation activity). Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (moving to Maidenhead in 2026), the role is hybrid with 3 days on-site. Responsibilities include coordinating trial activities from start-up through database lock, leading the local trial team to deliver quality data in compliance with SOPs, GCP, and regulatory standards; serving as the primary country contact for a trial; developing therapeutic knowledge; mentoring Clinical Trial Assistants and Site Managers; maintaining trial management systems; and ensuring recruitment targets are met while managing timelines and budgets. Requires BA/BSc in Life Sciences or related field, UK clinical trial experience, project management experience, oncology experience is advantageous, strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to commute to the listed offices.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BSc degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or related scientific field (or equivalent experience) is required
- A minimum of 3 years of UK clinical trial experience is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year demonstrable Project Management experience is required
- Proficient in speaking and writing the English language
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills; demonstrated ability to lead initiatives/small teams
- Flexibility to commute 3 days per week to High Wycombe/Maidenhead office
