Job Summary
Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories in Montgomery County, MD, performing diagnostic tests for mobility, strength, balance, and safety assessments. Implement individualized care plans including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and integumentary protective interventions for wound repair. Continually assess and revise care plans while educating clients and family members on rehabilitative activities. Accurately document observations and evaluations using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current MD Physical Therapist license and experience with electronic medical records. Base pay ranges from $68.00 to $75.00 per point.
Required Qualifications
- A current MD Physical Therapist - PT license
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills
