Job Summary
Conduct outpatient home health visits to adult and geriatric patients in Williston, Vermont, performing thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. Develop treatment plans based on physician orders and continually revise care plans while participating in multidisciplinary team discussions. Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative activities and accurately document observations using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current Vermont SLP license and clinical competence certificate. Base pay ranges from $45.00 to $50.00 per hour with flexible hours, no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Vermont
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association
- Have the equivalent educational requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and work experience necessary for such a certificate, and be awaiting the opportunity to take the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association examination for certification
- Have completed the necessary work and education requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and be in the process of accumulating the necessary supervised work experience required for certification
