Job Summary
Conduct outpatient visits to clients in designated Chittenden County territories, performing diagnostic tests for mobility, balance, and strength. Develop and implement individualized care plans including manual therapeutic exercises and gait training, while continually assessing and revising protocols with nursing staff. Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care to promote independent living and accurately document all observations and interventions using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current Vermont PT license and one year of recent clinical experience. Base pay ranges from $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- One year prior clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
- Current Vermont Physical Therapist - PT license
- Minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist - PT
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills
