Job Summary
Conduct outpatient visits to clients in Franklin County, Vermont, performing diagnostic tests for mobility, strength, balance, and safety assessments. Develop and implement individualized care plans including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions. Continually assess and revise care plans while participating with nursing in multidisciplinary care planning. Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care to promote independent living. Accurately document observations and evaluations using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current Vermont Physical Therapist license, one year of recent work experience, and ability to work independently. Base pay ranges from $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- One year prior clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
- Current Vermont Physical Therapist - PT license
- Minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist - PT
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills
