Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in a senior living facility providing comprehensive resident care, including medication administration, narcotic counts, and documentation; supervisory duties include coordinating Caregiver shifts, monitoring performance, and providing input for evaluations; ensures adherence to facility policies and communication with residents, families, physicians, and Health Services Director; requires strong clinical and interpersonal skills, prior elderly-care experience, and active LPN/LVN license; responsible for maintaining medication carts/rooms and ensuring accurate records, with duties spanning resident care and supervisory tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Current state LPN/LVN license
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner
- Essential Functions: Resident Care, Supervisory/Management responsibilities, shift assignments, caregiver performance feedback, scheduling, building tours, Manager on Duty duties, coordination with Health Services Director and Administrator
