Senior Living Nurse - LPN or RN

Job Summary
Monitors daily care of residents; performs skilled nursing tasks per policy and state law; documents observations and ensures follow-up; communicates needs to families, physicians, and outside providers; records/reacts to physician orders; ensures care plans and medication administration records are implemented; supervises caregivers, assists in shift assignments, monitors staff performance for policy adherence, manages coverage during absences; handles family concerns or complaints and documents actions; manages minor facility issues reported during shifts; maintains professional representation of the facility. Requires active LPN/LVN or RN license in the relevant state and prior experience with the elderly; supervisory experience preferred; strong communication and documentation skills; ability to coordinate with residents, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current state LPN/LVN or RN License if required by State
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner
