Senior Living Nurse - LPN or RN

Job Summary
Monitor the daily care of all residents and perform skilled nursing tasks as defined by company policy and procedure. Document observations, concerns, and changes in resident conditions, incidents, and/or accidents, ensuring follow-up documentation occurs until the issue is resolved. Communicate resident needs and concerns to family members and physicians, record and implement physician orders, and ensure information and interventions on resident service plans are implemented by Caregivers. Assist in shift assignments, monitor care staff performance for compliance with established policies, and manage shift coverage when staff members call in sick. Deal appropriately with family member and visitor concerns or complaints, documenting the issues and actions taken through the appropriate reporting mechanism. Manage minor physical plant issues that arise during assigned shifts. Requires current state LPN/LVN or RN license and previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current state LPN/LVN or RN License if required by State
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
