Job Summary
Senior Living Nurse responsible for monitoring daily resident care, performing skilled nursing tasks per policy/state law, documenting observations and changes, communicating resident needs to family and physicians, processing physician orders, ensuring service-plan interventions are implemented by Caregivers, maintaining orderly medication areas, providing shift status updates, and supervising care staff with scheduling and coverage. Requires current LPN/LVN or RN license per state, experience with elderly care, and strong documentation and communication skills; supervisory experience preferred. Focus on resident safety, care quality, and collaborative team leadership within a senior living facility.
Required Qualifications
- Current state LPN/LVN or RN License if required by State
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner
