Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents according to service needs within community policies and state requirements. Evaluate residents' needs and abilities, document results per state requirements, and provide medication services as allowed. Communicate with families, physicians, and healthcare professionals as directed. Mentor caregiving team members in resident services areas while maintaining an attitude of respect and confidentiality. Maintain a calm environment, achieve MG CARES program standards, and provide management reports as requested. Available by phone always while on duty. Attends in-service training as directed. Requires current LPN/LVN or RN license with at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care. Required Qualifications
- Current LPN/LVN or RN license in the community's state
- 1-year experience in nursing
- 1-year experience in geriatric care
- Ability to stand
