Senior Living Maintenance Director

Job Summary
Perform general maintenance projects including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry repairs. Ensure walls, floors, and furniture in common areas are properly maintained while repairing vacated rooms and completing all work orders timely. Document safety issues and physical plan deficiencies per local, county, state, and federal guidelines. Conduct preventative maintenance on community vehicles and equipment, including monthly to annual testing of systems and emergency call peripherals. Coordinate fire drills, respond immediately to accidents and emergencies per protocol, and assist with training staff on safety procedures. Direct, train, and support all direct report staff as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 1-3 years related experience or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to manage vendors for maintenance projects as needed
- Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance

- Must be able to perform frequent standing
- Must be able to perform frequent walking
- Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs

Desired Qualifications
- HVAC Certification preferred
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred
- Senior living maintenance experience preferred
