Job Summary
Senior Living Health Services Director leads nursing/medication staff in an assisted-living setting, overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management; ensures regulatory compliance, budgets, and resident-care quality; provides staff development and in-service training; maintains records, conducts audits, and responds to emergencies (fire/disaster, CPR). Requires current RN licensure, bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years of related experience in geriatric/dementia care, budgeting/cost control, and state licensing requirements; ability to obtain First Aid/CPR within 30 days and complete dementia training within 6 months. Location is Boise, Idaho; role is full-time with benefits and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (as specified by state agency)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire where required by state
- Completion of all Dementia training required by state regulations within 6 months of hire date if applicable
- 3-years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Assisted Living, geriatric nursing, or gerontology and dementia care
- Experience in medication administration and hands-on personal care preferred
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
- Physical requirements: frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, etc.
