Job Summary
Chauffeur residents to appointments, activities, and errands while maintaining the company van and performing light maintenance tasks like cleaning and sweeping. Establish and monitor weekly transportation schedules, ensure resident safety during boarding and vehicle motion, and report any mechanical or health concerns immediately to the supervisor. This role supports the Life Enrichment Department and requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 40 lbs. Full-time position with daily pay, health benefits, and 401k match.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check
- Valid driver's license sufficient to drive the company vehicle
- Valid CDL license if required
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Manual dexterity to operate a vehicle safely
- Interpersonal skills to work with various levels of people, associates, and residents
- Free of communicable disease
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to follow directions
