Job Summary
Administer and maintain RHEL/Linux servers and HPC compute nodes, installing, configuring, patching, and upgrading operating systems. Manage Kubernetes clusters, nodes, and workloads while performing performance tuning, hardening, and troubleshooting. Monitor system health, capacity, and availability, then automate infrastructure administration using Ansible, Shell scripting, or Python. Support integration between compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, and HPC platforms, resolving complex incidents through root-cause analysis. Implement security best practices and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. RHCE certification is mandatory; CKA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator / Linux Engineer / RHEL Administrator
- Expert-level administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management
- Strong knowledge of RHEL / Linux
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of Linux performance tuning
- Strong knowledge of Linux patching and hardening
- Strong knowledge of System monitoring
- Strong knowledge of Troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Capacity management
- Strong automation/scripting experience with Ansible, Shell/Bash, Python, etc.
- Experience integrating compute, storage, and networking infrastructure
- RHCE – Red Hat Certified Engineer
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting HPC environments / compute clusters
- CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator
