Job Summary
Maintain all group websites at the infrastructure level, creating new sites for jurisdictions and updating software versions. Install and administer both new and existing infrastructures while providing technical support during audits. Generate automated periodical reports to gaming control entities and manage monitoring tools like Zabbix. This role requires 5-10 years of Linux experience, advanced VMWare ESX and Ansible skills, and proficiency with NGINX, Apache, MariaDB, and Git. Candidates must reside in the Barcelona area and work on-call every three weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar position
- Advanced knowledge of Linux environments
- Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMWare ESX administration
- Expert level using Ansible
- Proficient in managing web servers such as NGINX and Apache
- Hands-on experience with monitoring systems and tools such as Zabbix
- Skilled in database administration, specifically with MariaDB
- Familiarity with version control systems including SVN and Git
- Knowledge of essential Linux services such as iptables, NTP, VPN, and FTPS
- Strong scripting abilities for automation and task optimization
- Capable of documenting technical processes clearly and effectively
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Bilingual or native level of Spainsh
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple workloads under tight deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Professional, patient demeanour with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Residing in the Barcelona area
- Availability to work on call – guardias- every 3 weeks
