Job Summary
Design and administer large-scale bare metal Linux infrastructure, focusing on server hardware, BIOS, RAID, and firmware troubleshooting. Manage enterprise storage operations including LVM, XFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel SAN, with deep expertise in Ceph cluster architecture, capacity planning, and failure recovery. Perform high availability clustering, disaster recovery, and network configuration for bonding, VLANs, and routing. Automate tasks using Bash and Python scripting. This role requires expert-level Linux administration (Ubuntu required; Red Hat and SUSE preferred) and strong troubleshooting skills across OS, hardware, and storage. Ideal for candidates with years of experience building servers from hardware up and architecting storage platforms, rather than those focused on CI/CD or cloud-native engineering.
Required Qualifications
