Job Summary
Design, build, and administer large-scale bare metal Linux infrastructure, focusing on Ubuntu, Red Hat, and SUSE environments. Manage server hardware including BIOS, RAID, firmware, and iLO/iDRAC/IPMI components while overseeing enterprise storage solutions like LVM, XFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel SANs. Lead Ceph cluster architecture for MON, OSD, MDS, RBD, and CephFS, handling capacity planning, performance tuning, and failure recovery. Execute high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery strategies using Bash and Python scripting for automation. This role requires deep expertise in traditional Linux administration and hardware troubleshooting rather than cloud-native or DevOps engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level Linux administration
