Job Summary
Senior Linux Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer needed to design, maintain, and scale Linux-based infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. Own CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, build workflows to support real-time operations for autonomous vehicle platforms, and improve security, scalability, and reliability from developer environments through live mission operations. Responsibilities include designing secure Linux infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, architecting systems for real-time autonomous vehicle operations, supporting edge compute with bandwidth/power/latency constraints, and collaborating across multi-environment deployments. Key qualifications include 5+ years in complex networking/infrastructure in Linux, a bachelor’s in CS/CS-related field (or equivalent), 3+ years with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Github, Github Actions), AWS experience (Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch), cloud security best practices, Python/bash/NodeJS scripting, interest in autonomous systems, SQL/NoSQL, Docker/Kubernetes, strong communication, onsite in San Diego, US citizenship with clearance eligibility. Nice-to-have includes further AWS services, serverless tools, and broader cloud experience. This is a full-time onsite Senior DevOps/Infrastructure role with base salary $140K–$160K plus equity and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience overseeing and designing complex networking infrastructure, including cloud-based, hosted systems in a Linux environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related preferred; equivalent work experience also considered
- At least 3 years supporting DevOps using CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Github, Github Actions
- Experience with AWS services: Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch
- Familiarity with Cloud Security best practices within private-cloud and datacenter environments
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and NodeJS (preferred)
- Interest or prior work involving autonomous systems, robotics, or remote operations and monitoring fleets
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, containerization and Docker/Kubernetes environments
- Soft skills: excellent communication and collaboration, team-oriented
- Location: onsite, San Diego, CA; US Citizenship and Secret Clearance eligibility
- Nice-to-Have: additional AWS services (Step Functions, Batch, Kubernetes, ECR, Fargate, VPC, Glue, Athena), serverless infra tools (Serverless Framework, Troposphere, Terraform)
- Compensation: $140K–$160K base + equity + benefits
