Job Summary
Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Calm responsible for owning the end-to-end lifecycle program across email, push, and in-app messaging to drive onboarding, habit formation, subscription conversion, and win-backs. Partner with a Lifecycle Marketing Technical Lead and cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science, Content, Creative) to translate strategy into production-ready campaigns, maintain high-quality deliverability and engagement metrics, and continuously optimize through data-driven segmentation, personalization, and rigorous A/B testing. Lead multi-channel initiatives with autonomy, influence stakeholders, and apply an AI-first mindset to improve efficiency and campaign quality. Requirements include 7+ years in lifecycle or growth marketing for a D2C or subscription business, proficiency with Iterable or similar MAP, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate independently within an IC role at senior level.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing, customer retention, or growth marketing with ownership of multi-channel programs in a D2C or subscription context
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in an IC role at senior level
- Experience building and operating complex lifecycle programs for a D2C or subscription business
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making; ability to map user journeys and derive actionable insights
- Proficiency with Iterable (or comparable enterprise marketing automation platform); capability to design workflows, segmentation logic, and A/B test setups
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Content, Data) and collaborate with technical counterparts
- Experience leading end-to-end lifecycle campaigns across email, push, and in-app messaging; ownership of onboarding, habit formation, conversion, and win-back efforts
- Ability to translate strategic requirements into production-ready campaigns and manage multi-branch workflows
- Comfort with creating and maintaining operational documentation, QA standards, and governance for lifecycle programs
- AI-first orientation; openness to evaluating and piloting AI tools for copy generation, segmentation, and workflow automation
