Job Summary
Senior Licensing Specialist, Regulatory Affairs in Canada responsible for supporting licensing activities for the BWRX-300 in Canada. Participate in CNSC regulatory reviews for mechanical systems and/or fuel, assist with PSAR/POSAR/FSAR documentation and license applications, and prepare/lead licensing presentations to CNSC staff. Coordinate responses to regulators and customers on safety analysis, reactor core design, and other applicable licensing areas. Strong emphasis on regulatory guidance, complex project coordination, and collaboration with GVH/GNF Engineering and Regulatory Affairs teams; requires extensive knowledge of Canadian nuclear regulatory requirements and ability to work onsite in Markham, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 7 years related professional work experience OR Master's Degree in science or engineering from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years related professional work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing/providing input into nuclear safety evaluations, including regulatory requirements for nuclear regulatory documents
- Minimum of 5 years of experience involving complex projects, and providing regulatory guidance and feedback to support those projects
