Job Summary
Senior Legal Director leading Digital Realty's North America Real Estate, Infrastructure & Procurement team within the LRSC group. Responsible for strategic legal counsel on data center development, ownership, and operational matters; overseeing multi-site, multi-jurisdictional contracts (construction, design, development, MSAs, procurement, infrastructure agreements); driving risk management, governance, and standardized negotiating positions; managing and developing a NAM legal team; partnering with Development, Design & Construction, Procurement, Operations, Investments and Finance to enable large-scale data center projects; external counsel management; and ensuring alignment of legal strategy with commercial objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in the state of employment
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant legal experience with focus on real estate development, construction and infrastructure projects, procurement and commercial contracting, and complex agreement negotiations
