Job Summary
Lead legal partner for the Breast Cancer Therapeutic Area, providing strategic guidance to commercial, medical, value, access, and development teams while identifying and mitigating legal, regulatory, and compliance risks. Draft, negotiate, and manage complex research, development, and commercial agreements, and review promotional, medical, and external communication materials to ensure compliant execution. Support business development, alliance management, and product launch strategies, then build organizational capability through legal training and cross-functional collaboration. Close partnership with regional and country legal colleagues to ensure coordinated support across the global portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree and bar admission with strong legal expertise in a commercial environment
- Significant post-qualification legal experience
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical legal frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management principles
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide pragmatic advice in complex global organizations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills across diverse cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions independently
- Location: London, UK or Basel, Switzerland
