Job Summary
Lead and scale US Public Sector and government contracting transactions as the primary legal partner for MongoDB's public sector sales ecosystem. Draft, structure, and negotiate high-value public sector and commercial transactions (SaaS, cloud licensing, professional services, subcontracting). Provide expert guidance on US and international procurement laws (FAR/DFARS, GSA schedules, FedRAMP) and help develop and refine the public sector compliance program. Advise cross-functional teams through the sales lifecycle, from RFP evaluations to audits or disputes. Build and maintain legal playbooks, templates, and training modules to streamline negotiations and empower sales teams. Stay ahead of evolving technology laws and export controls to mitigate risk. Collaborate cross-functionally to launch programs supporting growth of commercial and public sector businesses.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of US public sector transactions experience
- Strong working knowledge of government procurement frameworks and contracting vehicles, FAR, DFARS, and related regulatory requirements
- Active Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand complex contractual issues, assess risk while exercising strong business judgment, and provide clear legal advice
- Curious and passionate about technology

- Phenomenal leadership and teamwork skills, and willingness to take on new responsibility
