Job Summary
Senior Legal Counsel for Corporate Law at Nexperia based in Hamburg. Provide corporate legal support for the global Nexperia group including Germany/Hamburg, perform corporate housekeeping and ESG, act as secretary to the Germany Board of Directors, support the Deputy Chief Legal Officer on strategic corporate projects (Corporate/M&A, Finance, Tax and Treasury), deliver commercial legal support to key customers under DCLO supervision, manage disputes and external counsel, oversee legal spend, and support the German Corporate Affairs department. Requires 6-10 years of corporate-law experience, a law degree, international mindset, fluency in English, and strong knowledge of corporate law and ESG in an international setting; M&A experience and experience with Finance/Treasury/Tax are advantageous. Required Qualifications
- A completed university degree in law
- 6-10 years of relevant experience as a corporate lawyer or in-house legal counsel
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and ESG in an international setting
- Experience with M&A
- Experience working with Finance, Treasury and/or Tax
- Litigation experience (advantageous)
- Experience with C-suite and senior management stakeholders
