Job Summary
Senior Legal Counsel for Group Employment across the EU, APAC and MEA regions, acting as the senior employment-law adviser to leadership. Lead complex employment matters including hiring, mobility, performance, discipline and exits; advise on data privacy (GDPR) and cross-border data transfers; manage cross-border restructurings and collective consultation; handle executive employment matters, investigations, grievances and whistleblowing; draft and maintain employment contracts, policies and governance documents; partner with People teams and external counsel to deliver practical, regionally aligned solutions; monitor developments in employment and data-protection law across jurisdictions; operate with senior management to ensure compliant, scalable solutions in a regulated, multinational context.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with 10–12 years post-qualification employment-law experience
- Significant and practical experience across multiple EU jurisdictions and APAC/MEA
- Background in a multinational organisation or top-tier law firm
- Proven ability to advise senior executives and lead complex matters independently
- Deep expertise in employment, labour and employee relations law
- Strong experience with restructurings, collective consultation and workforce change
- Drafting, negotiating and advisory skills
- Data protection and confidentiality obligations understanding
- Fluent English; additional EU and APAC/MEA language skills desirable
