Senior Legal Counsel, Germany & Operations EMEA

Job Summary
Lead and support contract projects involving framework agreements, individual contracts, and amendments across Germany and EMEA operations. Review, negotiate, and draft commercial documents while instructing and managing external counsel for regulatory requirements. Provide practical, proactive legal advice on construction, public policy, and employment matters to internal stakeholders. Assist with legal due diligence, develop standard templates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to standardize working practices. Attend key meetings and negotiations with business units, authorities, and third parties to mitigate legal risks.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of [5+] years post qualification experience
- at least some with a top law firm
- Good knowledge of and experience in commercial transactions
- experience in providing hands-on advice on time critical challenging legal matters
- Experience in performing legal reviews and negotiations
- drafting of commercial contracts and legal documents
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written comprehension skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
