Job Summary
Senior Legal Counsel provides strategic and operational legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while managing legal risk. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements; overseeing disputes and litigation; guiding governance frameworks; advising senior leadership on regulatory developments; supporting mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic transactions; and mentoring junior team members. Requirements include a law degree (LL.B./J.D. or equivalent), admission to practice, and 8+ years in a senior legal role within an international corporate setting, with Life Sciences experience preferred. Fluent English with strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills; leadership capability is important.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Juris Doctor (J.D.), or equivalent law degree.
- Admission to practice law in at least one relevant jurisdiction.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in a senior legal role within an international corporate environment; experience in the Life Sciences industry is preferred.
