Job Summary
Senior Legal Counsel responsible for scaling the legal function as the second hire below the GC. Operate as a generalist covering fundraising, M&A, data protection, AI regulation, employment, compliance, and commercial matters in a fast-growing tech-enabled lettings/estate platform. Lead legal matters with minimal supervision, support junior team members, collaborate closely with product engineers and investors, and help minimise risk beyond traditional legal constraints.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years PQE (minimum)
- In-house experience, ideally including building or scaling a legal function from near zero
- Background from a top-tier US firm or Magic Circle (UK/AUS qualified)
