Senior Legal Counsel, Data Center

Job Summary
Lead and manage negotiations for a broad range of commercial agreements supporting data centers in Singapore, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia, including procurement, EPC/construction, leases, services, and interconnection; provide practical legal support across the data center lifecycle; develop templates/playbooks to accelerate contracting; monitor regulatory developments and coordinate with external counsel as needed; ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, bar admission in Singapore or Malaysia preferred, and hands-on experience in data center, infrastructure, real estate/leasing, energy, procurement, or outsourcing transactions; strong commercial judgment, drafting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent)
- Admission to Singapore or Malaysia Bar (preferred)
- 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and leading negotiations on complex commercial agreements
- Familiarity with Singapore and/or Malaysia legal/regulatory requirements (preferred)
- Experience in data center, infrastructure, construction/EPC, real estate and leasing, energy, procurement, or technology and outsourcing transactions (preferred)
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
