Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate complex automotive semiconductor agreements with global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, including framework contracts, IP licenses, and supply arrangements. Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations end-to-end, coordinating with Sales, Finance, and engineering under deadline pressure while advising on regulatory and compliance topics. Build consistent contracting standards and negotiation playbooks across EMEA, the US, and APAC to help shape a newly established automotive legal function. Manage automotive legal risk by partnering with global team members and supporting related audits. Work directly with senior sales, finance, and executive stakeholders on high-value, high-visibility matters.
Required Qualifications
- Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist(in))
- Solid results in both German state law examinations
- 6+ years of in-house experience in the automotive sector (OEM or Tier 1), the semiconductor industry or similar business environment
- Ideally with hands-on experience negotiating complex, high-value supply agreements
- Strong international exposure
- Fluent in German and English, verbally and in writing
- Ideally with another language
