Job Summary
Senior Commercial Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including customer sales contracts, channel partner agreements, procurement agreements, and technology licensing arrangements; advise business teams on EU and member-state regulatory requirements, GDPR compliance, export controls, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption programs; identify and assess legal risks, propose practical solutions, and manage external counsel on disputes and specialized matters; collaborate with senior executives to develop internal processes and templates to enhance efficiency and compliance awareness; leverage experience in technology/telecommunications/IP licensing to support cross-border transactions; requires fluency in English with excellent communication skills and a track record in commercial transactions and international contracting.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree and qualification to practice law in at least one EU jurisdiction
- 10+ years of legal experience, including training at a reputable international law firm and in-house counsel experience with a multinational corporation
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong track record advising on commercial transactions, international contracting, and cross-border legal issues
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across jurisdictions and functions
