Job Summary
Senior Legal Content Creator (Attorney) at Berry Law — lead editorial strategy and high-value content creation to establish the firm as a national authority in Veterans Disability and Personal Injury law. Responsibilities include conducting original legal research, drafting long-form website content and practice area pages, authoring thought leadership articles, developing editorial calendars, producing executive pieces and media-ready content, creating multimedia materials (podcast outlines, video scripts, production briefs), and refining messaging for social media, PR, and communications. Requires a J.D. with active U.S. licensure, exceptional legal writing/editing, strong research and editorial judgment, and ability to translate complex legal concepts into accessible content while upholding ethics and Berry Law’s brand standards. Preferred experience in Veterans Disability or Personal Injury, thought leadership development, SEO/AEO, AI-assisted research, and collaboration with marketing or communications teams; ideal for an attorney who loves writing, teaching, researching, and shaping the legal conversation on a national scale.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Exceptional legal writing and editing abilities
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly for professional and consumer audiences
- Outstanding research, organization, and editorial judgment
- Ability to translate sophisticated legal concepts into compelling, reader-friendly content
- Deep attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Veterans Disability or Personal Injury is a plus
- Experience developing thought leadership or educational legal content
- Familiarity with SEO, content strategy, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI-assisted research
- Experience working with Veteran or military communities
- Background collaborating with marketing, media, or communications teams
- Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts into reader-friendly content
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
