Job Summary
Maintain legal files, corporate records, and document repositories while preparing, proofreading, and distributing legal documents. Coordinate document execution, routing, signatures, and record retention, and track departmental deadlines within Diligent and other systems. Support board and committee meetings by compiling materials, organizing resolutions, and managing annual stockholder administration. Monitor contract renewals, organize executed agreements, and process legal invoices and vendor administration. Assist with legal budget tracking, quarterly accrual reporting, and coordination with outside counsel and legal service providers.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a legal assistant, legal administrative assistant, contract administration or related support role
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve difficult problems with effective solutions
- Superior listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express oneself clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
