Senior Legal Advisor

Job Summary
Provide legal management, support, and advice for Waystone clients while contributing to regulatory oversight and leading regulatory projects. Deal with legal and governance aspects across all functions, particularly lifecycle management of investment funds, and assist in drafting, vetting, and negotiating contracts. Identify and propose solutions for mitigating legal risks, report activities to senior leadership, and coordinate templates to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Undertake directorship mandates for clients and participate in external working groups with fund associations. Represent Waystone at professional events and conferences.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the fund industry
- Strong regulatory and legal knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior management and boards
- Capacity and affinity to work in an international environment
- Solution-oriented approach to resolving problems and ability to handle multiple complex matters in parallel
- Master in Law
- Advanced legal education with relevant Law and/or Finance certifications demonstrating strong expertise in Luxembourg law
