Job Summary
Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Secondary Initial Teacher Education responsible for delivering in-person and online student-centred teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programs; lead curriculum development, innovation and accreditation using evidence-informed and technology-enhanced approaches; provide educational leadership with oversight of courses/programs; conduct and publish impactful research and attract competitive funding; supervise HDR candidates and strengthen the research pipeline; build partnerships with industry and the broader community to enhance the discipline’s reputation; base at Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) with potential cross-location work; hybrid work options available.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing
- Eligibility for teacher registration in Queensland
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs
- Proven ability to lead curriculum development, accreditation, and innovative teaching practices
- Experience in supervising higher degree research (HDR) candidates and fostering research training
- Strong track record of independent, high-quality research with publications and competitive funding
- Engagement with industry, community and professional partners to enhance collaboration and outcomes
