Job Summary
Lead educational innovation and assessment design across multiple clinical schools, dedicating approximately 70–80% of workload to teaching and learning. Develop and coordinate assessments for the Sydney medical program, including evaluation, quality assurance, and electronic assessment portfolio management. Address stakeholder questions and concerns timely while contributing to faculty development and improving assessment processes based on feedback. Participate in advisory group meetings and maintain assessment integrity across the Office of Medical Education and clinical sites. Work independently with strong planning skills to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or PhD in a relevant discipline, or appropriate clinical qualifications and/or experience in assessment
- Demonstrated understanding of the subject matter within the discipline
- Experience in teaching and learning across a variety of settings
- Demonstrated success in designing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives
- Experience supervising or mentoring others
- Developing network of academic, industry and professional relationships
- Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment
- Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment or background checks required for the role
- Satisfactory maintenance of all relevant clearances and background check requirements
