Job Summary
Oversee leasing specialists and deliver superior customer service to current and potential residents by warmly greeting visitors and building rapport. Review eligibility determinations, documents, and leasing files against HUD regulations, submitting approvals to the Assistant Property Manager. Perform re-examinations, interim interviews, and income verifications to maintain eligibility, while managing the property waitlist and completing occupancy reporting. Investigate resident complaints and answer inquiries regarding rent, maintenance, lease provisions, and program policies. Maintain clean work areas and coordinate with the site management team to optimize property operations.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of the leasing and admissions rules as determined in HUD regulations
- Possesses full knowledge of application information required, screening process and polices regarding HCV/Sec 8, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LITHC), and Affordable Housing paperwork
- Two years of college course work
- Three years of experience in public housing, Section 8, case management, or apartment management
