Job Summary

Senior Learning Program Development Specialist at Boeing leads the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive learning programs focused on mechanical/electrical manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include developing strategic learning programs in structures/mechanical/electrical domains, collaborating with SMEs to identify training needs, creating engaging training materials (presentations, e-learning modules, videos, job aids), evaluating program effectiveness via assessments and feedback, coordinating with HR and production operations, managing budgets and vendor selections for cost efficiency, and ensuring content compliance with FAA/OSHA/DOD. Requires 5+ years of project-management experience, 3+ years ISD/curriculum-management experience, data-driven decision making, strong stakeholder collaboration, and ability to travel up to 50%. BA/BS or higher strongly preferred; experience with LMS, e-learning, and manufacturing-focused training is desirable. Positions located in Berkeley, MO; Mesa, AZ; El Segundo, CA; Huntsville, AL; or San Antonio, TX. This role includes strict COI and export-control requirements and does not offer visa sponsorship; relocation is not a negotiable benefit.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of experience using curriculum management and/or Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies, systems and tools
  • Experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions
  • Experience building strong business relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (preferred)
  • Experience with learning management system (LMS) course and curricula architecture (preferred)
  • Experience designing and developing training programs in manufacturing environments (preferred)
  • Experience with project/program leadership (preferred)
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and multimedia tools (preferred)
  • Experience delivering stakeholder and executive briefings (preferred)
  • Experience with Quality Management System and Material Review process (preferred)
  • Knowledge of FAA, OSHA, DOD compliance (required)
  • Conflict of Interest considerations and COI assessment processes (required)
  • Export control awareness and U.S. Person requirements (required)
  • Security and safety compliance knowledge (preferred)
  • COI assessment and employment policy compliance (required)
