Job Summary
Develop and update the 3–5-year manufacturing excellence roadmap for Avezzano and Veronella plants. Lead key improvement initiatives across the value stream from pasting and curing to assembly, charging/finishing, and logistics, focusing on OEE, labor productivity, scrap reduction, and material efficiency. Implement and standardize Lean/CI methods including VSM, SMED, 5S, and visual management while shaping the automation roadmap for robots, cobots, and intralogistics. Strengthen maintenance excellence and coach plant leadership to build a continuous improvement culture. This central expert role offers direct access to COO and plant leadership as FIAMM Energy Technology upgrades its operations to state-of-the-art standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering or Industrial Management
- 7–12+ years in manufacturing operations, CI/OpEx and/or industrial automation in high-volume environments
- Proven track record of end-to-end improvement projects with measurable impact on cost, OEE, scrap and labor
- Practical experience with Lean/CI and performance management (tier meetings, KPIs, OEE dashboards)
- Exposure to automation and controls (PLC/robot-based lines, cobots, vision systems or intralogistics solutions)
- Strong influencing, communication and change skills
- Fluency in Italian and good command of English
