Job Summary
Originate, structure, and execute sophisticated custom credit solutions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients by partnering with the Customer Relationship Group to assess needs and negotiate deal terms. Actively market custom lending solutions across the Wells Fargo Platform and deliver compelling presentations to prospects, centers of influence, and internal partners. Present deals to Independent Risk Management and underwriting teams for final approval while driving proactive outreach to senior team members and external prospects to support new business development and loan growth. Lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas within Wealth Custom Lending. This role sits within Wells Fargo's Custom Lending group, a center of excellence unlocking access to full custom loan product suites including deposits, consumer lending, and trust services.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Wealth Custom Lending experience
- Proven success in custom credit origination and complex loan structuring for HNW/UHNW clients
- Strong credit acumen with demonstrated ability to design bespoke lending solutions
- Private Banking, Corporate Banking or Commercial Banking experience
- Excellent sales and relationship management skills
- Strong credit risk experience
- Knowledge of traditional banking products
- FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- A Master's degree or higher
- US only location
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s)
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 examinations completed within 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment
- Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements
- Meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
