Job Summary
Senior/Lead Systems Engineer to lead integration, verification, and requirements for KC-46 mission and refueling systems in 100% onsite role in Everett, WA. Responsibilities include leading airplane- and system-level integration of hardware/software, managing requirements development/validation/verification, coordinating cross-disciplinary activities, mentoring teams, applying MBSE (SysML, Cameo) and model-based testing, developing CONOPS and operational documentation, planning ground/flight tests, and supporting certification and cross-system integration efforts. Requires 9+ years experience (Level 4) or 14+ years (Level 5), DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain, Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and relocation willingness. Strong knowledge of avionics, refueling systems, environmental controls, safety/certification processes, and experience with DOORS, HIL/SIL, and simulation-based testing. Must be a US citizen eligible for U.S. security clearance; visa sponsorship not offered. 1st shift; on-site requirement; Boeing relocation available; extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership in driving program health and obsolescence mitigation.
