Job Summary
Lead pre-trade, trade capture, pricing, and real-time risk & PnL stream solutions using Java, Spring, Kafka, and messaging hubs. Conduct thorough legacy system analysis, design trading tools, and drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. Develop metrics to measure transformation initiatives, lead pilot projects for new technologies, and collaborate with Risk and P&L teams to build scalable, robust systems. Establish validation standards for secure coding and automated testing while coaching senior engineers on responsible AI usage.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years of applied experience of Java

- Experience in developing software using Kafka
- IBM MQ
- Tibco
- AMPS
- Experience in developing transformation projects with latest technological skills in Fixed Income trading system domain
- Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale
- Experience in working on complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Demonstrated experience leading effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment
- Ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows
- Data sensitivity considerations
- Secure handling of inputs/outputs
- Adherence to resiliency and security expectations
- Experience coaching senior engineers/leads on compliant usage patterns and controls
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience using either: Java, Python, C++ or SQL
- Experience as a lead software engineer for a small team
- Strong understanding of programming and problem-solving skills
- Team player and positive attitude
- Graduate degree in Computer science/engineering field
- AI/ML, NLP knowledge
