Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer in JPMorgan Chase's Equity Derivatives real-time Pricing Technology team. You will provide technical guidance across business and technical teams, develop secure, high-quality production code, and collaborate as a front office developer working with the Realtime Pricing platform. You’ll work with Python and TypeScript (React), influence product design and technical operations, serve as a subject matter expert, and contribute to firmwide software development lifecycle practices while fostering diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience in software development
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operations
- Advanced knowledge of Python and TypeScript (React)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a front office or financial services environment (preferred)
- Experience delivering secure, high-quality production code
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience with SDLC practices and code management
