Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer for Markets Technology at JPMorgan Chase, serving as the local lead for Mansart fund management. The role involves leading the Mansart Japan desk, collaborating with a tight-knit team of traders, structurers, and technologists to scale the business, and ensuring software consistency across regions by coordinating with the London team. Core responsibilities include shaping and delivering scalable software across a global platform, leveraging Python, SQL, and Java, and maintaining disciplined code management, testing, and deployment practices. Preferred qualifications include experience in a front office financial services environment and Japanese language capability to engage with local stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

- Team player, able to communicate well with both fellow technologists and business users
- Excellent analytical skills (i.e. problem solving)
- A solid foundation in computer science and software engineering principles
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies
- Disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices
- Experience of working in a front office environment within financial services
- Working Level Japanese skill is highly preferred as this role is going to engage with local stakeholders
