Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Oversight & Governance Technology. Responsible for executing software solutions across the full software development lifecycle, delivering secure production code, and maintaining high-quality architecture artifacts. Drives Day 1 Observability, analyzes large data sets to uncover patterns, and proactively identifies hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture. Collaborates with stakeholders, contributes to engineering communities of practice, and aligns with standards to accelerate time to market. Requires 10+ years of experience, strong Java/J2EE and REST API skills, CI/CD with Jenkins, Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot), cloud platforms (AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, Azure), GenAI tooling, databases (relational/NoSQL), messaging technologies, and a solid foundation in Test Driven Development and modern front-end technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development building mission critical enterprise applications
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE and REST APIs, Web Services and experience in building event-driven Micro Services
- Proven knowledge of using Continuous Integration(CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices using Jenkins or similar technologies
- Experience working with the core Spring Frameworks including Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience in cloud platforms AWS, Pivotal cloud foundry with containers (Docker Swarm / Kubernetes). GCP, Azure
- Hands-on experience with GenAI Developer Tooling
- Working knowledge of one or more database technologies, relational and NoSQL
- Working knowledge of one or more Messaging technologies
- Strong understanding of test driven development, Shift-Left focus
- Engineering mindset and passion for innovative development
- Working knowledge with modern front-end technologies
